Different Resources

Raman Exporters, which is based in Punjab, INDIA. I would like to tell you about the management of resources within the organisation. This very important now a days in the entire organisation. All the organisations need the resources to run their businesses. There are many types of resources in the organisation; I would like to write about some of them, that are:

  • Human resources
  • Physical resources
  • Financial resources
  • Technological resources

But from these four resources there are only two types of resources, which are very important to control & monitor the business that are financial resources & Human resources. Now I would like to explain all the four resources that management need to run the business one by one:

Human resources: This is the most important role in any of the organisation. Every organisation needs staffs, which is committed to meeting organisations aims & objectives. It is the job of the persons in the human resources management to find to recruit, develop and retain quality staff. In small organisations owner is the only person who is responsible, whereas in large organisation there are many employees so the team leader is responsible for recruiting the staff.

In the same way Raman Exporters also employs leader for the human resources department, after that its leaders duty to appoint, recruit the employees. He has to tell to all the persons how to work, what type of work he should do. He also tell the employees about the aims & objectives of their organisation, so that all the employees know about organisations aims & objective and work hard to achieve these aims & objectives.

Physical resources: This is also one of the main aims of any organisation. Physical resources mean resources, which an organisation needs to carry out their daily business activities. It includes repair of buildings, equipment used for doing any kind of work in the organisation, any type of machinery used to make products etc. Every organisation requires the manager who looks after all the physical resources. He will be responsible for everything; he has to think what has to be done in an emergency.

They appointed staff for the physical resource department, who manage and look after all the things in the organisation, which relates to their department. There are many things which usually this department have to do daily.

Financial resources: It means resources, which dealt with finance department. As I have already discussed about physical resources & human resources but in these areas as well you need one thing that’s is MONEY! They can’t do anything until they don’t have money. Business cannot be run without money, there are different types of ways by which we can get the finance like grants, funds, loans, additional investment in business etc. this resource also need a manager who will look after all the finance department like where to spend money, from where to get money from business & all other things relating to finance department.

Technological resources: It means these are not physical, we cant see it, technological are not equipment, if any thing is physical then it will come in physical resources but these are not physical. These are like software, designs, music etc. the other area where technological resources are important for the any business is to protect the skills & the experience gained by the staff and managers for a number of years. Keeping experienced people in business means that the level of expertise in the business can grow, they are able to do good jobs in the organisation; they carefully manage the all the things in the organisation. Organisation should have back up of specialist employees, if in any case an employee fell ill then organisation need other employee to take over his job.

In the same way Raman Exporters have also appointed employees for technological resources department. They have machinery, computers & many others things which they need to help in the production department. They have to make different designs for different buyers. They usually upgrade the software’s, so that they compete with the changing needs of the market in today’s world. They employ experienced staff members, who handle the work very carefully. There are some people in their organisation that are still working for them from last so many years. They also trained so many employees in their organisation, so that if in any case they have to go, of they fell ill then other person could take over his job.
